The Patented ModuC LS is a Liquid, Tablet, Pellet or Powder into Capsule filling machine. Fully modular over-encapsulation machines for outputs of up to 200,000 capsules per hour

The ModuC Capsule filler is designed for ultimate flexibility and fast changeover. This low speed capsule filler is ideally suited to small runs. For high outputs the higher speed models are required.

Patented Dosing Trolleys

The ModuC capsule filler is suited to a wide range of dosing technologies including:

  • Patented Drum dosing for active pharmaceutical powders (APIs), cohesive and inhalation powders.
  • Dosator for powders
  • Tamping pin for powders with automatic alignment
  • Format free tablet and capsule over-encapsulating station
  • Pellet feeding
  • Rotating piston for Liquids and Thixotropics

    The Trolley system is patented. Dosing systems are mounted on exchangeable trolleys inside the capsule filler. Once the trolley is exchanged the Capsule Filler recognises the new dosing system and runs accordingly.

    There are currently 5 Mid Speed capsule fillers on order. Cabable of producing 100,000 Capsules per hour, the ModuC MS Capsule Filler is designed to offer the same flexibility that its little sister, the ModuC LS offered but at higher throughputs.Instead of handling three capsules per cycle the machine handles 10. Furthermore the reject has been optimised to reject only a single capsule intead of a complete cycle. Harro Hoefliger are actively developing dosing trolleys for the new machine. Currently completed are the Dosator, Pellet and Tamping Pin. Close behind is the drum filler.

    The patented ModuC Capsule Filler has been a huge success since its launch. Recently two further systems were delivered to two different UK clinical trial manufacturers. The ModuC holds three patents. One for its interchangeable filling trollies, others for capsule closing and drum dosing systems.
