Carton ErectorsThe balcony box erector ensures clean forming and good accessibility. This solution is both simple and effective. Tray forming and wrap-around is also possible on the balcony erector. Subsequently the carton can then be top-loaded using either a robot, a pick and place unit or some other collation devices. Due to the wrap around design special shapes are possible. The use of a linear drive makes it possible to erect at 120 cartons per minute.
The Balcony carton erector can be extended to operate as a Top Load Cartoner with the insertion of modular product loading stations. These Modular loading station could be an ABB flexpicker robot creating stacks of Wound dressings in the carton or another pick and place unit. The Balcony erector is also suitable for use where Kits must be assembled. Here the modular design facilitates multiple loading station for product, booklet, labels and much more.
