Pharamaceutical Powder ReportsIn order to accurately dose and handle a given Pharmaceutical powder, we conduct powder analyses to take the risk out of dosing system selection.
Our Powder Analysis evaluates the following properties of the powder:
Carrs Index
Particle Shape
Flow ability
Agglomeration
Environmental interactions: Humidity (RHI), Temperature, Gas
Density
These then enable us to select the correct dosing system and machine. Beyond the actual dosing system the powder Analysis will help us to choose the correct materials and surface treatment for powder machine contact parts such as powder stirrer and hoppers. A powder with poor flow ability may be more suitable to our drum filler. Easily flowing powders can be dosed using a tamping pin. Environmental interaction data from the Powder Analysis will enable us to decide on the Machines Containment requirements.
