One of the main advantages of this machine over its competitors is that it uses lugged belt during transport which means the cartons don’t get squeezed in between 2 belts. This allows perfectly clean and flat surface for the print and apply labeller. The unit reaches the speed of up to 250 products per minute, but the potential of the machine is 300 products per minute.

In 2015 a Gantry Robot was installed at a UK Crisp manufacturer. The original decision to purchase the Gantry Palletiser was made in part due to the reliable construction of the components which became clear to the customer when he saw a system in operation.

The system uses a single robot in an overhead Gantry in the Warehouse to Palletise cases coming from 6 production lines.
A visualisation in the Production area allows line operatives to assign order numbers and stacking patterns to each of the 6 palletising positions. It also allows operatives to see the status of sensors and the cause of rejects.
The system was supplied with Pack Scheme Generation software allowing quick addition and alteration of stacking patterns without the need for programming. Each line can use a different pallet type which is automatically dispensed from a dedicated Pallet magazine. Some stacking patterns require cardboard interlayers to stabilise the load.
Order data, retrieved from an ERP system, is printed onto a pallet label which is applied at the end of the system. There is a single out-feed where full stretch wrapped and labelled pallets are removed by fork lift drivers from the system.
The original decision to purchase the Gantry Palletiser was made in part due to the reliable construction of the components which became clear to the customer when he saw a system in operation. The customer has the option to add additional Robots into the existing system to double his throughput in the future. He has already exercised the option to incorporate a 6th line into the system which was originally installed to palletise from only 5 lines.
