In the Aerosol Industry Bautz are known for their leak detectors and Valve function testing machines. Bautz has just delivered its first Actuator placement or buttoning machine to place actuators with folding spray tubes.
Buttoning machine with Manual Feeding to Maximise Return on Investment
The customer was a manufacturer of Industrial Aerosols who has Bautz Leak testing machines on site. They were looking for a purpose built machine that would increase the output of their line from 20 to 40 actuators per min. The new system was to be fed manually. This would keep the equipment cost low and eliminate the need for change parts to run other actuator sizes. The operator's involvement would maximise flexibility to handle other sizes and shapes in the future.
Made to Measure
The actuator is used for lubricant sprays and the spray tube allows the end user to target the specific area to lubricate. However the bulky size and dimensions did not fall within the scope of standard solutions in the industry. As such the machine was built to suit the actuator. The overall dimensions of the machine are small only 600 x 840 mm.
