UV- The Invisible Ink to allow late stage Labelling
As the bottles leave the out-feed of the TVR110 a UV printing station will print and then verify the print using UV ink. The UV ink serves to mark the bottle prior to labelling. This allows the customer to maximise the efficiencies on the line by packing all bottles separately to labelling. Country specific labelling will take place offline. The UV code will be read back in at labelling when the country specific label is applied. The use of UV print means that the code will not be visible to the end customer, even if the print lies between the ends of the label as they wrap around the bottle.
At interpack, the machine will be fitted with the popular broken tablet inspection and reject system which is able to identify and reject individual broken tablets.
